Kamala Derangement Syndrome

 In normal times I wouldn't start with a Fox News screenshot, but I can't remember what normal times felt like.

On the left, the son of a distinguished governor.  On the right, the son of a beloved senator and attorney general.  This is why hereditary monarchy has effectively vanished from the earth.

Mike Johnson decided that Elon Musk didn't alarm enough potential voters by promising a time of "temporary hardship" as he redesigns the economy to make it more attractive to billionaires.  Johnson told a bunch of Trump volunteers in Pennsylvania that his party's priority will be the "massive overhaul" (destruction) of the Affordable Care Act and its replacement with Trump's concept of an idea of a plan.  "No Obamacare?" asked one, hopefully or plaintively it doesn't say.  "The speaker, wearing a personalized Trump-Vance jacket, responded, 'No Obamacare.'"  This is Little Moses's idea of helping Ryan Mackenzie defeat Rep. Susan Wild, while screwing millions of Americans whose pre-existing conditions make them anathema to insurance companies.  

"Where are the jobs?  There are none!" Trump thumb-typed early this morning, furious at the approximately 75,000 people who crowded the Ellipse as Kamala Harris exorcised the demons of his coup launch from the same place on January 6, 2021.  "The jobs" are reported every month, almost always surpassing predictions, and 2.8 percent growth overall has been recorded for the third quarter of 2024.  In other words, the disastrous Trump years are well over.  I trust this answers your question.  As for "Pennsylvania cheating" in the election, that's just another sad old lie.  But if you want cheating...

Republican Mayor Doug Diny of Wausau, Wisconsin, took it upon himself to remove a drop box in front of city hall last September.  Residents want the Justice Department to investigate.

Larry L. Savage, Jr., a former Republican candidate for the House, was arrested after a security camera caught him stuffing ballots in his pocket while "testing" a voting machine in Madison County, Indiana.

Containers of ballots were found in the street after falling out of a truck in Cutler Bay, Florida.  An election worker has been fired.

After an emergency appeal, the Sleazy Six found that Virginia can resume purging voters from the rolls a week before the election.  A federal judge had ruled it illegal.  The Six did not give a reason for their ruling, but do we really need one?

In Oregon and Washington state, ballot boxes continue to experience mysterious fires.  Not enough to change the outcomes in those places, just your basic MAGA tantrum.

Still crazy after all these months, Steve Bannon has decided that Nancy Pelosi "sent me to a federal prison as a political prisoner" because she fears the power of his podcast.  I wonder if she knows who he is.  Meanwhile another "political prisoner" was sentenced to life without possibility of parole for trying to kill Paul Pelosi.  He is already serving thirty years in federal prison.  "This is a man who has always been a peaceful, law-abiding person up until his activation," said his lawyer.  They all were.

Not to be outdone by the lies about Haitian immigrants eating pets, Colombian-born MAGA Senate candidate Bernie Moreno is fomenting violence against Mauritanian asylum seekers in Lockland, Ohio.  He told Maria Bartiromo all about the red-carpet treatment the "illegals" get from the government.  Lack of affordable housing and a strain on the small town's public services are the main problems, not an increase in crime, but why pass up a chance to stigmatize the helpless?  Most are Black Mauritanians escaping actual slavery at the hands of the country's Arab rulers. 

Bartiromo is a multi-tasking idiot so she also railed about Beyonce's appearance with Kamala Harris in Houston because the singer didn't even sing.  That's what she's supposed to do, not express political opinions like a citizen or a mother.  "More than 30,000 people attended the rally and then what did they get?  They didn't get Beyonce singing.  She didn't sing."  Maria, if you've ever been to a concert you may have noticed that singers have musicians and special sound equipment.  They don't just stand there like Roseanne assaulting the national anthem.  There are sound checks, rehearsal time...if she had lip-synched to one of her recordings you'd be bitching about that.  Trump couldn't draw 30,000 if he brought Pavarotti back from the dead to sing "Nessun dorma."  

Why don't you interview Caleb Williams?  The 18-year-old Trump fan was just intimidating voters in Neptune Beach, Florida, with his machete when he was arrested for aggravated assault on a 71-year-old woman.  Another political prisoner!

Aaaand today in Fake Outrage, did Joe Biden really call Trump supporters "garbage"?  That's terrible.    I am definitely not voting for Biden.  The correct term is "vermin."
