NO! in thunder

John Fugelsang is a better person than I am.  Yesterday on the Stephanie Miller show he spoke movingly about Charlie Kirk's children having to grow up without him, calling his death "tragic."  "He deserved a chance to grow, to become a better person."  John is one of the few Christians I know of who walks the walk.  I am not a Christian at all.  I can't feel the feeling.

Someone has to say that Charlie Kirk was fascist scum, that the only thing he ever did to make this planet a better place was convert oxygen into carbon dioxide so green plants could make use of it.  The hagiography has to end somewhere.  Why not here?

Because there is nothing the other fascist scum can do to me.  I suppose they can shut down Google, which provides this platform, but that wouldn't sit well with Alphabet, Inc., and its CEO Sundar Pichai, whoever he is when he's at home.  I'd have to move it elsewhere.

Some lowly employee of Office Depot in Portage, Michigan, was fired for refusing to print a poster advertising a Kirk event.  Kelly Sackett, chair of the Kalamazoo Fascist Party, recorded her saying, "We don't print propaganda," and that was enough.

Clay Higgins (Fascist-LA) vows to "use Congressional authority to ban for life every post or commentator that belittled the assassination of Charlie Kirk..."  Others on the Retribution Commission include Marsha Blackburn, Pete Hegseth, Navy Secretary John Phelan and Christopher Landau.

The "Department of War" is using finks on social media to identify and discipline anyone who "makes light of or celebrates" the bastard's demise.

Comcast ordered all Comcast and NBCUniversal employees not to disparage the racist hatemonger.  Matthew Dowd has already been fired from MSNoFreeSpeech or whatever the rump of MSNBC is now called.

Fascist cultists in Michigan are demanding that Judge Jaimie Powell Horowitz resign because she quoted Kirk's words in support of the Second Amendment on Facebook and remarked, "Talk about dying for your beliefs."  The Oakland County Fascist chair called this "disgusting," but Judge Horowitz says she's not quitting.

George Abaraonye, who was elected president of the Oxford Union after the debate pictured here, is looking at "disciplinary action" after being less than sorrowful at Kirk's death.  "Charlie Kirk got shot, let's fucking go" was one of his responses, for which he has naturally received racial abuse and threats because of course he did, even in Britain.  Meanwhile the UK version of Kirk, who goes by the name Tommy Robinson, hastily organized a London hate rally which drew violent racists from as far away as New Zealand.  They were treated to an Elon Musk video link congratulating them on their efforts to Keep Britain White.

Kelly Brock-Sanchez, an elementary school teacher in Florida, wrote the finest one-line response I've seen on Facebook:  "This may not be the obituary we were all hoping to wake up to, but this is a close second for me."  She was "removed" from her classroom.  I'll bet.

Also removed, a communications coordinator for the Carolina Panthers who wrote, "Why are y'all so sad?  Your man said it was worth it."  People have been fired from Delta Airlines for similar exercises in free speech.  Also firefighters, nurses, a city councilor in Cornelius, Oregon, and various people in media.

Johnson County, Iowa, is being fined a million dollars a day for refusing to lower its flags.  "I condemn Kirk's killing...but I will not grant Johnson County honors to a man who made it his life's mission to denigrate so many of the constituents I have sworn to protect, and who did so much harm not only to the marginalized, but also to degrade the fabric of our body politic," wrote Jon Green, chair of the county board of supervisors.  More like him, please.

And what of Erika Kirk, the grieving widow, who shared video of herself whispering to the corpse?  Remove sharp objects from pockets and strap in:

"The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry...My husband's mission will not end.  Not even for a moment...they killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and of god's merciful love...You have no idea what you have just unleashed across the entire country.  Now and for all eternity he will stand at his savior's side, wearing the glorious crown of a martyr...he loved America."

Did any of that splatter on you?  Of course the love offerings are pouring in, a million dollars from Tucker Carlson's nicotine pouch company (?) alone.  George Conway, who ran out of fucks to give a long time ago, wasn't wrong when he compared Kirk to Horst Wessel, street-fighting pimp and official Nazi martyr.  What we need is a song.  Mr. Darin?
